The 1953-54 Romanian Hockey League season was the 26th season of the Romanian Hockey League. Six teams participated in the league, and Știința Cluj won the championship.[1]

Regional Championships

This round was also known as he "faze pe centre" (Central phase).

Brasov Group

Participants: CCA Bucuresti, Vointa Bucuresti, Flamura Rosie Bucuresti, Steagul Rosu Brasov, Santierul Brasov, Spartak Sighisoara. Spartak Bucuresti and Spartak Brasov were removed from the competition.

CCA Bucuresti, Vointa Bucuresti, and Steagul Rosu Brasov advanced to the national championship.

Cluj Group

Participants: Stiinta Cluj, Flamura Rosie Cluj, Dinamo Targu Mures, Constructorul Targu Mures, Avintul Reghin, Flacara Tirnaveni, Progresul Iasi, Avintul Sebes.

Stiinta Cluj and Dinamo Targu Mures advanced to the national championship.

Miercurea Ciuc Group

Participants: Avantul Miercurea Ciuc, Spartak Miercurea Ciuc, Progresul Miercurea Ciuc, Spartak Odorhei, Spartak Gheorgheni, Spartak Sfantu Gheorghe, Stiinta Galati.

  • Spartak Gheorgheni - Stiinta Galati 2:0 - match was for second place

Avantul Miercurea Ciuc advanced to the national championship.

National Championship

The national championship was played in Bucharest.
