The 1932-33 Romanian Hockey League season was the eighth season of the Romanian Championship. Tenis Club Roman Bucharest won the championship by defeating Telefon Club Bucharest in the final.[1]

Although the championship was contested between the two Bucharest teams, hockey also enjoyed popularity elsewhere. There were eight teams in the city of Cernauti as well as clubs in Miercurea Ciuc and Cluj.

In Brăila, a city located on the Danube, a team of six players named HC Brăila was established by a local sportsman.

The games on March 4 and 5 were unable to be completed due to thaw. The match between Dragos Voda and Maccabi did begin at the Boislo rink, with the former side scoring a goal in the first period. However, the referee, Scheren, deemed the ice too soft for further play, so the game was stopped after the first period.

In an article entitled “eishockey mit hindernissen” (ice hockey with obstacles), it was reported that while the championship had still not been completed, there were hopes of the remaining matches being played as frosty weather had returned to Cernauti. If the weather held out, it was intended to stage the games from March 11-13. The sequence matches to be played was as follows: Class I: Polonia - Maccabi, Maccabi - Dragos Voda (last two periods), Polonia - Jahn. Class II: Borochow - CFR, Dovbusch - Muncitorul.

Jahn Cernauti and Muncitorul Cernauti had already clinched the championship in their respective classes and were also awarded the title of "tarfrei" in the last session of the commission.

Some of the unplayed games were contested in December 1933.
