The 1968-69 Romanian Hockey League season was the 41st season of the Romanian Hockey League. Five teams participated in the league, and Steaua Bucuresti won the championship.

Promotion/Relegation

A promotion/relegation series was held on the Poiana Brașov between the winner of the Division 2 championship (Tarnava Odorheiu Secuiesc) and the last placed team in the top division (IPGG Bucharest). The first game ended in a 3-3 deadlock, but Bucharest retained their spot in the championship with a 1-0 victory in the second match.
