1947–48 Romanian Hockey League season
The 1947-48 Romanian Hockey League season would have been the 21st season of the Romanian Hockey League. It was not played due to an extremely warm winter in Romania.[1]
On February 5, hoping the weather would be favorable, the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation began discussions of organizing the national championship. It was planned to utilize a divisional system, with teams from Bucharest, Buhusi, Cluj, Iasi, Miercurea Ciuc, and Targu Mures participating.
However, the weather never got cold enough to stage the championship, so it was cancelled.
Other games
There were only two games played in Romania during the 1947-48 season, both friendlies. There had also been a match planned between HC Ciocanul Bucharest and CS Miercurea Ciuc, but it was cancelled.
Played in Miercurea Ciuc:
- 1/3: RATA Târgu Mureș - CS Miercurea Ciuc 2:1
Played in Targu Mures:
- 1/8: RATA Targu Mures - Dermata Targu Mures 5:0
