Overview

The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 13th time. The participants were Brighton, Essendon and St. Kilda. The title was won by Brighton.

The 12th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged in August 1927. It was won by New South Wales, 2-games-to-none.

The sixth New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. North Sydney, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and the Glebe Lions competed. Glebe won the championship.
