Overview
There was a competition played between the Beavers and the Ottaway Club at the Melbourne Glaciarium in 1917. The Beavers won the Premiership with a 20-8 lead in points. This earned them the right to challenge the Ottaway Club for the title. The Ottawas ceded the championship to the Beavers.
