Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 10th time. The participants were Brighton, Essendon, Melbourne, and St. Kilda. The title was won by St. Kilda.
The ninth Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged in August 1924. It was won by New South Wales, 2-games-to-one.
The third New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. North Sydney, South Sydney (also called simply as "Sydney"), Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and a new club, the Glebe Lions, competed. Eastern Suburbs won the championship.
