The 1927 Goodall Cup was the 12th edition of the inter-state series between Victoria and New South Wales. It was won by New South Wales, who claimed the championship for the eighth time in total. They would retain the trophy until 1947.

"The second of the season's interstate ice hockey marches between New South Wales and Victoria was decided at the Glaciarium last night and resulted in a scoreless draw. The first game was won in comfortable style by the local players, but the visitors gave a greatly improved exhibition last night. Darke, the Victorian goal-keeper, played a very fine game."

"In the interstate ice hockey march at the Glaciarium last night New South Wales, 7 (J Brown, two; R Gardiner, K Raith two, and V Mann two), beat Victoria, 1 (J Molony). Gibson and Mann of the New South Wales team, and Donovan of Victoria met with facial injuries which necessitated stitching."
