The 1984 Goodall Cup was the 58th edition of the inter-state ice hockey series in Australia. New South Wales won the cup for the 30th time in total.

The competition was played at Iceland in Dandenong, Victoria, from October 4-7, 1984. K. Dolighan of Victoria won the John Nicholas Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
