The 1970 Goodall Cup was the 44th edition of the inter-state series between Victoria and New South Wales. It was won by New South Wales, who claimed the championship for the 25th time in total in a three-game series. R. Suran of Victoria won the John Nicholas Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
