Championship Final
5000 spectators flocked to see the decisive match of the championship between TCB and Dragos Voda, each level on points. However, the referees ruled the ice unplayable as it had melted in places due to sunlight. The public was upset by this, and a friendly match, which TCB won 5-0, was staged instead. The organizers indicated that the final would be held within ten days.
Two weeks later, the artificial rink in Bucharest was still deemed unsuitable for playing, so the final was played on March 10th on natural ice in Miercurea Ciuc. Dragos Voda threatened to forfeit and withdraw to protest the official from Cernauti assigned to the match.
