Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 50th time. The title was won by the Oakleigh Demons.
The 41st New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. The Prague Bombers, Glebe Lions, St. George, Homebush Hotspurs, and Homebush Juniors competed.
The 44th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged. New South Wales won the cup.
The 10th Australian National Club Championship was played. It was won by the Melbourne Monarchs.
