The 1952-53 Romanian Hockey League season was the 25th season of the Romanian Hockey League. Six teams participated in the league, and CCA Bucuresti won the championship.[1]

First round

Group I

Participants: Avantul Miercurea Ciuc, Progresul Miercurea Ciuc, Spartak Miercurea Ciuc, Spartak Gherogheni, Stiinta Galati.

  • Avantul Miercurea Ciuc - Spartak Miercurea Ciuc 30:1

Avantul advanced to the final round.

Group II

Participants: Spartak Targu Mures, Constructorul Targu Mures, Stiinta Cluj, Progresul Odorhei, Avintul Reghin, Avintul Sebes, Flacara Tirnaveni.

  • Stiinta Cluj - Avintul Reghin 32:0

Spartak Targu Mures and Stiinta Cluj advanced to the final round.
