Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 48th time. The title was won by the Melbourne Monarchs.
The 39th New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. The Glebe Lions won the Championship.
The 42nd Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged. Victoria won the cup.
The eighth Australian National Club Championship was played. It was won by the Melbourne Monarchs, who defeated the Glebe Lions.
