Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 43rd time. The Pirates, Demons, Blackhawks, Tigers, Monarchs, and Hakoah participated. The title was won by Hakoah.
The 34th New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. The Prague Bombers, Glebe Lions, St. George, Hotspurs, East Monarchs, and Western Suburbs competed. The Glebe Lions won the Championship.
The 37th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged in August 1963. Queensland also competed this year. New South Wales won the cup.
The third Australian National Club Championship was played. It was won by Hakoah, who defeated the Glebe Lions.
