Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 31st time. The title was won by the Melbourne Tigers. The Raiders won the rival Victorian Ice Hockey League.
The 29th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged from July 29-August 5, 1950. New South Wales won the cup.
The 24th New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. The St. George Dragons, Eastern Suburbs (Monarchs), Western Suburbs (Tigers), and the Glebe Comets competed. Western Suburbs won the championship.
