Overview

The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 21st time. The participants were Essendon, Melbourne and Hawthorn. The title was won by Essendon.

The 20th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged from July 27-31, 1935. It was won by New South Wales.

The 13th New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. St. George, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and the Glebe Lions competed. St. George won the championship. A reserve grade competition featuring the same clubs was also contested.
