Overview
The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 12th time. The participants were Brighton, Essendon and St. Kilda. The title was won by the St. Kilda Blackhawks.
The 11th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged from August 7-11, 1926. It was won by New South Wales, 3-games-to-none.
The fifth New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. North Sydney, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and the Glebe Lions competed. Glebe won the championship.
