This was the 1947 ice hockey season in Australia:

Overview

The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 28th time. The participating clubs were the Blackhawks, Monarchs, Wildcats, and Red Arrows.[1] The title was won by the Dandenong Blackhawks.

The 26th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged from July 26-31, 1947. Victoria won the cup for the first time since 1922.

The 21st New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. St. George, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and the Glebe Lions competed.
