Overview

The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 30th time. The title was won by the Melbourne Tigers. The Golden Bears won the rival Victorian Ice Hockey League.

The 28th Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged. Victoria won the cup.

The 23rd New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. St. George, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs, and the Glebe Lions competed.
