The 2000 Goodall Cup was won by New South Wales, who was represented by the Sydney Bears. The Australian Capital Territory, represented by the Canberra Knights, finished second. Laing Harrow of the ACT won the John Nicholas Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
