The 2001 Goodall Cup was the 74th edition of the inter-state ice hockey competition in Australia. It was won by the Sydney Bears. The Queensland Cyclones finished second. Vladimir Rubes of Sydney won the John Nicholas Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament. The tournament was played from August 15-19, 2001, in Newcastle.
