The 1987 Goodall Cup was the 61st edition of the inter-state ice hockey competition in Australia. South Australia won the cup for the second consecutive year.
The competition was played at the Phillip Ice Skating Rink in Canberra from October 22-25, 1987. R. Black of Victoria won the John Nicholas Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
