The 1947-48 Serie A season was the 15th season of the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. 11 teams participated in the league, and Hockey Club Milano won the championship.
SG Cortina received a bye to the semifinals and Hockey Club Milano earned a bye directly to the final.

(There was some controversy regarding the match between Diavoli Rossoneri and Diavoli Azzurri. The game was suspended after heated debates between the Milanese side and the referees. The federation awarded the victory to Bolzano, but it was recorded only as 1-0 win, allowing Milano to advance on goal differential.)
