The 2016-17 Serie A season was the 83rd season of the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. Eight teams participated in the league, and Ritten Sport won the championship.
Regular season
The regular season was played as the multi-national Alps Hockey League. The top four Italian teams advanced to the Italian playoffs from there.
