The 1960-61 Serie A season was the 27th season of the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. Four teams participated in the league, and SG Cortina won the championship by defeating HC Diavoli Milano in the final.

Diavoli defeated Cortina 6-3 in the last game of the regular season on February 14, 1961, to force a one-game playoff to decide the champion.
Final
After several postponements, the final was played in Bolzano on March 18. Cortina dominated en route to a 4-0 victory.
