The 1934-35 Austrian Hockey Championship was the 13th season of the Austrian Hockey Championship. The Provincial champion, Klagenfurter AC, defeated the Vienna champion, Wiener EV, to win the State Championship.

2. Wiener Eislauf-Verein (WEV) 2 1 0 1 3:6 2

The first game was staged in Vienna and was won by WEV by the score of 3-0. KAC played hard, but suffered from a lack of practice time due to recent mild temperatures back home, and succumbed.

It appeared that WEV had garnered the Austrian Championship, but several days later KAC reminded the former club's president, Walter Bruck, that he had promised a rematch if ice conditions were suitable in Klagenfurt before March 15. Bruck denied making this statement and claimed he only offered to play a friendly against KAC, but the OEHV cited two witnesses who asserted otherwise, and ordered WEV to travel to Klagenfurt.

WEV itself was also faced with a dilemma. Several players who had announced their intentions to leave the club (Demmer, Gobel, and Kirchberger), proclaimed their willingness to attend the match in Klagenfurt and capture the championship for good. However, in an act of defiance toward the federation, Bruck sent WEV's junior side to play against KAC, whom defeated them handily by a score of 8-1.

The title was awarded to KAC but the circumstances were deemed unsatisfactory. EK Engelmann Wien, the runner-up in Vienna, filed a protest and the OEHV proceeded to conduct an investigation. The federation awarded the second match to KAC by a 6-0 forfeit and suspended Walter Bruck from any official duties for five years.
