The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was a country in Southeastern Europe that existed from 1918 until it was dissolved in 1992 amid the Yugoslav Wars. It has split up into the countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro (Serbia and Montenegro until 2006), Macedonia, and (the mostly-unrecognized) Kosovo.
