The 1945–46 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League season was intended to be the sixth season of the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League, the top level of ice hockey in Yugoslavia.
Vojvodina Championship

Croatian Championship
- Mladost Zagreb - Akademičar Zagreb 11:0
- Mladost Zagreb - Tekstilca Varazdin 6:3
- Mladost Zagreb - Tekstilca Varazdin 9:2
Mladost Zagreb, founded on January 21, 1946, won the Croatian Championship in their very first year of existence. They qualified to compete in the national championship.
Yugoslav Championship
The national championship was slated to take place on the Save river in Zagreb from January 26-30, 1946. It was not played.

Udarnik was a continuation of SK Ilrija Ljubljana. The gap between the Slovenes and Croats had closed significantly, as the latter had been able to continue activities during the war, whereas the Slovenes had not played hockey since 1941.
