The 1959-60 Suomi-sarja season was contested as the second tier of Finnish hockey. It was divided into three groups (North, Central, and East), with the top team in each group advancing to the final round. From there Karhut Pori and Vesa Helsinki and Oulun Kärpät were promoted to the SM-sarja.
