Junior hockey in Spain currently consists of leagues ranging in age from U14 to U20. They are governed by the Spanish Ice Sports Federation.
In many years, joint competitions with France (known as the Transpyrenees Championship) were organized across the various age groups. Some years, the joint competition was contested alongside the national championship, but in others it was the sole form of competition.

The U20 cup was known as the Copa del Principe Sub-20 from 2008-2011, and is now called the Copa España Junior.
