Leningrad Championship

The Leningrad Championship was played for the fourth consecutive season. ODO Leningrad won the championship.

Moscow Championship

The Moscow Championship was contested for the 26th time in 1948. 39 teams were divided into four groups of play. Petrel Moscow won the women's championship.
