This was the 1924-25 season in Soviet bandy:
Leningrad Championship
The Leningrad Championship was played for the third consecutive season. 14 teams were divided into A and B groups. Following a resolution of the Leningrad Physical Education Board from March 10, 1924, all private organizations, including sports clubs, were dissolved.
Lolbeck became Union Communal, while Sport was renamed LTSKS. However, on the eve of the championship, the clubs were placed into the district offices of the Spartak organization.
