1. liga

The Slovak 2.Liga (English:Slovak Second League) is currently the third tier of ice hockey in Slovakia. For the 2015-16 season, the 2. liga is divided into two different divisions. It lies below the Slovak Extraliga and the Slovak 1.Liga. The league is composed of 14 teams divided into two groups of 7 teams each, and is divided geographically (Western and Eastern).
