The German National Team represents Germany in international competitions.
History
Germany first competed in an international event at the 1910 European Championship held in Les Avants. They enjoyed much of their international success at the European Championships prior to World War I, claiming the silver medal three times officially. The 1912 European Championship, in which Germany came in second to Bohemia, was annulled after several protests by the German squad.
