The Leningrad Championship was played for the seventh consecutive season. 39 teams were divided into five groups of play.

The competition was played from December 26 to March 11. Stadium was renamed CDFK Leningrad.

The winner of Group 2, LOSSPS, and Textilschiki finished tied with four points apiece (one game was a 3-0 win for LOSSPS). According to the regulations, LOSSPS qualified for Group 1 as they were the team from the lower division.
