Junior hockey in Kazakhstan currently consists of leagues ranging from under 12 to under 20. Some classifications are divided into A and B groups, with the A group winner being recognized as overall champions. Since 2018-19, the Jastar Hokei Ligasy has been contested as the national junior (U20) league.
