The Suomi-sarja served as the second-level ice hockey league in Finland, below the SM-sarja from 1936-1974. The I-Divisioona became the new second tier league for the 1974-75 season.

  • 1968-69: Jokerit Helsinki won the league and was promoted to the SM-sarja. TPS Turku, the second place team, was also promoted.
