The Swedish Women's Division 1 is the second-level of women's ice hockey in Sweden, below the Svenska damhockeyligan. From 2015-16-2020-21, it was also been known as the Damettan, and since 2021 its been called the Nationella Damhockeyligan.
It was formerly the top-level competition in Sweden. After the creation of the Riksserien in 2008, Division 1 regional winners received the opportunity to qualify for the national final until the 2008-09 season. Since then, they have only been eligible for promotion to the top-level league.
