Initially scheduled at 16:00, the match between the Philippines and Thailand was delayed. The Philippines made a failed appeal to let its captain, Steven Füglister, who incurred a suspension penalty in their previous match against Malaysia, play in the game. The match between Singapore and Malaysia, which was for third place, was also delayed.
