The 1962-63 Suomi-sarja season was the third season of the league as the second tier of Finnish hockey. It was divided into fourth groups (North, South, East, and West), with the top team in each group advancing to the final round. From there TPS Turku and WU Warkaus were promoted to the SM-sarja.
