“Skating is now the principal outdoor activity of the community [in Mukden]. In previous years the International Skating Club has generally been able to gather together at least two presentable hockey teams but this year very few active adult players have expressed an interest. This however, has not in anyway prevented the Mukdenites from playing hockey, especially since the sports has now become hockey between the adults and the juniors. Two very fast games were played during the past week, both of which were won by the juniors.”[4]
