Overview

The Victorian Championship series in Melbourne was held for the 49th time. The title was won by the Melbourne Monarchs.

The 40th New South Wales Championship took place in Sydney. The Prague Bombers, Glebe Lions, St. George, Homebush Hotspurs, Homebush Juniors, and Wollongong Coasters competed. St. George won the Championship.

The 43rd Goodall Cup Inter-State Series between Victoria and New South Wales was staged from August 2-4, 1969. New South Wales won the cup.

The ninth Australian National Club Championship was played. It was won by the Melbourne Monarchs, who defeated St. George.
