Baltimore, Maryland

The U.S. Coast Guard Cutters, based in Baltimore, played in the Eastern Hockey League until November 29, 1943, when they dropped out. The team took part in exhibition games for the remainder of the season. They played some of their home games in Washington, DC. They successfully defended their United States National Senior Championship (see article for results).

The Wichita Semi-Pro Hockey League returned for its third season in 1943-44. The Beech Flyers were replaced with the Tulsa (Oklahoma) Flyers on January 9. Five of their players were formerly of Beech.
