The RSFSR Championship was the national championship played in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. It existed alongside the Soviet Championship League, but was of a lesser caliber and was restricted solely to Russian teams, as were the other Soviet republic championships (Belarusian, Latvian, etc.).
