The Fort Collins Crystals played the Laramie, Wyoming team three this winter, going 1-2 in the series (also see the Wyoming section).

The Spokane Clippers competed in the Pacific Coast Hockey League. Silver Loaf, Red and White, Lang Stove, and the Couer d'Alene Eskimos played in the Big Four Hockey League.

Texas

Four teams competed in the Houston Amateur League in 1937-38, and the Lone Star Creamery won the championship. No hockey was played in San Antonio this winter.

The Kanawha City rink opened in Charleston in the fall of 1937, and the Charleston Ice Sports hockey team was formed in February 1938. The first game was played on the 26th.
