The 1972-73 Northern League season was the seventh season of the Northern League, the top level ice hockey league in northern England and Scotland. Seven teams participated in the league, and the Dundee Rockets won the regular season championship while the Murrayfield Racers claimed the Spring Cup playoff championship.
