The 1962-63 Austrian Nationalliga B season was won by ATSE Graz, who earned promotion to the Austrian Hockey League.

Regular season

Western Group

HC Innsbruck-Pradl qualified for the national final.

Eastern Group

Hofgastein qualified for the national final. They forfeited their participation in it.

Southern Group

SV Leoben finished first, but the second place team, ATSE Graz, advanced to the final in their place.
