Nova Scotia

The Dartmouth team was noted to have won the first, third and fourth goals of the ricket match at Saare's rink on March 10, 1885.[1]

Prince Edward Island

The first organized ice hockey games in Prince Edward Island were played in Charlottetown in 1885. "The hockey matches and band at the rink on Saturday night attracted a large number of spectators. The match was best two games out of three between the Red badges and White badges of the club. The Reds, under Captain Robins, won the first game in one hour and ten minutes. They also took the second after a shorter contest, notwithstanding the White's, under Captain Moore, played splendidly."[2]
