Indiana

The Lake County Hockey League returned for its third season of play this winter. The Whiting Mack Seniors rejoined the Chicago Amateur Hockey League, having previously spent the 1934 and 1935 seasons in the league.

Whiting Mack Juniors were in first place after the first round, which concluded on 2/1. Glenwood and Hammond Mohawks were tied for second, ahead of Roseland Mohawks, Hammond Rangers, Standard Oil, Gary Tigers, and Roseland Phantoms. No further games are recorded to have been played.

Iowa

The Des Moines City Hockey League returned after a year's hiatus this winter. There were plans to hold an Iowa State Amateur Championship in Des Moines, but it was cancelled.
